Tangere is the fifth of the Bio Sensor Project Series that incorporates the biological functions of the users body to control media elements projected into the installation/performance space. In this work the user lays their hands on two sensors , as the computer detects their pulse the image before them is push along at the rate and rhythm of the users heartbeats. This work foregrounds the sense of touch and in both the interactive interface and in the video as the performer's gestures to stay away.
